The Foundation Education North Calotte, Education North organizes vocational adult education for the labor markets in Finland, Norway, and Sweden. Education North's mission is to make our approximately 300 students employable and attractive in the Nordic as well as the international labor market. We operate in accordance with ISO 9001-2015. Education North provides vocational training in plumbing in Övertorneå. We have adult students from Finland, Norway, and Sweden as well as Swedish high school students. We also work with corporate training and short courses for companies and to some extent private individuals.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct teaching and lessons, plan, develop, structure, organize, and follow up on education in the field.

Education and Work Experience

· Pedagogical education or pedagogical experience

· Relevant plumbing education

· Industry certificate in plumbing

· Documented, broad, and current knowledge in plumbing technology

Language

Swedish in speech and writing. Finnish in speech and writing is an advantage. You work fluently with commonly used office support programs and administrative systems.

Personal Qualities

· Good pedagogical ability

· Ability to convey engagement and interest in the field.

· Innovative, independent, and with a willingness for renewal and development.

· Good communication and collaboration skills.

· Be a representative spokesperson for Education North.

· Ability to translate new knowledge and experiences into practice.
